By Julie Horner With an August sun beaming and the swimming hole hopping, locals and out of towners alike deployed their blankets and sunk toes into the good earth at Junction Park in Boulder Creek for an afternoon of live music, BBQ, local wine and craft beer presented by 90.1 KBCZ Boulder Creek Community Radio.
This is our biggest fund-raiser of the year. Race Thru the Redwoods, sponsored, planned and staffed by mostly FBA Volunteers, is held the 3rd Sunday in August. Our race draws hundreds of participants, many from other parts of the United States, and some from foreign countries, to test their mettle in a unique forest environment

Every year on Saturday of the Memorial Day weekend, the FBA sponsors and provides all the prodigious Volunteer effort to plan, organize and present “Felton Remembers” which draws large crowds of people to our community. This is a family event featuring a traditional parade honoring those who have served our country in the military service.
