Lille Aeske Arthouse Bids Farewell

By Sarah and James Mackessy

To our Loving and Loyal Patrons, Friends, and Family: We have some bittersweet news to share. We are pursuing a real estate/venue opportunity in Racine, Wisconsin (located on beautiful Lake Michigan) and our time curating visual, performance, and culinary art for this wonderful community of Boulder Creek and the Santa Cruz Mountains is coming to a close. We want to thank all the amazing artists and art lovers that have supported us these last four years and for making this such an enriching time for us. We are currently interviewing parties who are interested in buying lille æske- It is our hope that some inspired soul who wants to take the reins of our beautiful little art house will step forward and continue to host art-centric events for the community! Stay tuned!! As most of you know, lille æske translates to “little box” and since we are pursuing a larger venue, we will be retiring that name. Our new name will be ændre. It’s Danish for “to alter, shift, or change.” You can follow our Midwest adventures on Instagram at @aendre_arthouse We will start to populate that social media outlet as soon as we travel back east (the end of July). We will miss you all- thanks for making this all such an amazing and special time in our lives!! Last Chance First Friday Art Walk & Moving Sale! Friday, July 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm | 13160 Central Ave (Highway 9), Boulder Creek 831-703-4183 | arts@lilleaeske. com | www.lilleaeske.com
