The 2018 Redwood Mountain Faire organizers proudly presented checks totaling $50,000 to Faire beneficiaries at a celebration on Thursday, July 12th at the Boulder Creek Recreation District’s new Bear Creek facility. Funds benefited 19 diverse non-profit, service and school organizations. By providing volunteers to help with Faire operations, each organization contributed to the success of the Faire and, in turn, benefitted from the proceeds.
Hundreds of tasks, including set-up, directing traffic, selling tickets, serving beverages and clean-up, must be handled efficiently for a successful Faire. Thankfully this great event involves hundreds of dedicated and community-minded individuals who volunteer to help, many returning year after year, supporting both the Faire and the various beneficiary organizations.
Organizers are very grateful to the amazing community support for the Faire, and are looking forward to the 2019 Faire, taking place on June 1st and 2nd. Sponsors are needed for the Faire and there are many opportunities for the Sponsors to benefit as well, including naming the stages or sponsoring specific activities.
