What An Intentional Touch Can Do
~ An Excerpt from “A Journey of Heart and Mind” ~

We are born, and as babies, we are completely of free choice. We are also completely free of judgment, and all “assigned” meanings and feelings, precepts. We know that what we feel either feels good or not. If it feels good, we want more of it and move towards it. If it does not feel good, we move away from it. As we grow up we begin to make “rules” based in judgment, right vs. wrong, good vs. bad. These rules, influenced by outside forces, impact us deeply and those individuals we come in contact with. This ultimately begins to make it appear as if we have less and less choice around life. The more rules perceived, the less perceived choice available.
With awareness expansion through touch, hands-on presence we can work to dissolve the barriers, created by negative thoughts and rules imposed, in the body’s energetic, mental, emotional, and physical and karmic fields. Thus we are able to increase and free up movement in these particular fields. The more freedom of movement, the more possibility, the more choices we will have available at any given moment in our life. Anything can happen, and often does. Make a wish for yourself, your work, or relationship… it can become a reality.
When you create a sincere intention to “show-up” in your own life, and ask for assistance, presence in the moment is created. Energetic hands-on healing is the lending of a person’s presence to your own. At this point, your intention for change and healing becomes exponential. It is no more complicated than that. Attention is brought to a particular part of the body; muscle holds memory, connective tissue is emotional, bone is karmic, etc., and when touched, the cellular memory is accessed.
When intention for change is desired, and touch without judgment is added, old and outdated thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors, created by outside forces and imprinted before the age of three, can be “re-written” to become more congruent and updated to the present moment’s needs and life experiences, for the choice of betterment in all aspects of one’s life. Choice is absolute and intention will facilitate ease of that choice for change, with the help of additional presence through touch. The skin is the largest “organ” of the body, and the most sensitive and responsive to touch. Newborn premature babies in incubators have proven time and again that they need to be held and touched in order to thrive. That need never goes away at any age. Just as we need to eat and drink water to survive, we also need to be touched in order to thrive! Reach out, and touch someone today! You both will feel better for it.
