Summer is in full swing, though our Summer Solstice doesn’t come until the 20th. Since that is the longest day of the year, some of us follow the old way of calling that “midsummer”. Gemini season is a time for play, busy-ness and curiosity…I hope you are having a good time out there!
Luminaries:
Our New Moon at 16° Gemini arrives June 6 at 5:37am PT. What are you curious about? What beginner’s mind can you bring to freshen up your life? An excellent time to commit to learning something new, whether that’s for fun, work, or a career hobby. This New Moon merges with Venus, bringing love and grace to the equation.
Summer Solstice lands the moment the Sun enters Cancer on June 20 at 1:51pm PT. This is the longest day of the year, with the Sun at its maximum peak in the Northern Hemisphere. An excellent time to spend a day of adventure and fun cooling off in water, or a bbq or some other family feast. This is also the day before the Full Moon, which means she will be rising in the East just as the Sun is setting in the West. We will be fully illuminated should our festivities run into the night.
That Full Moon at 1° Capricorn lands on Jun 21, 6:07pm PT. An excellent time to celebrate your accomplishments since last year. You might also consider this year’s goals and allow the Moon’s spotlight to shine on any adjustments that need to be made.
Planetaries:
Inquisitive Mercury zips through his own curious sign of Gemini on June 3 for just two short weeks. An excellent time to follow curiosity and learn new things.
Passionate Mars enters earthy Taurus on June 8 encouraging us to set boundaries and fight for our most meaningful territories and belongings.
Graceful and loving Venus enters the healing sign of Cancer on June 16. It’s time to tend to our self-care, and to nurture our relationships with others.

Aries:

June 8 and beyond switches your focus to stabilizing your relationships and lessons in trust. You have no problem with committed love (despite the stereotypes), but only if there is deep trust. June 11 is an uncomfortable friction between family and relationship dynamics, but if anyone knows how to face shadow material, it’s you.
