SLVWD Board of Directors Name Jason Lillion as General Manager

Lillion is set to start July 1

The San Lorenzo Valley Water District (SLVWD) Board of Directors today announced it has appointed Jason Lillion as General Manager for the District.

The Board voted unanimously to appoint Lillion at a meeting on Thursday, June 5. Lillion will start July 1. His base salary will be $250,000.

“We’re pleased to welcome Jason as our new General Manager,” said Board President Mark Smolley. “His strong background in water systems management will serve the District well. We also extend our sincere thanks to Acting General Manager Jennifer Torres for her steady leadership throughout this transition.”

Lillion brings deep experience in water operations management to the role. He began his career in 1999 at the Indian Wells Valley Water District in Ridgecrest, Calif., and has served there as Operations Manager since 2012.

At SLVWD, Lillion will oversee key projects the District is undertaking to address aging infrastructure by replacing undersized pipelines, hardening against wildfires, ensuring a more reliable water infrastructure and improving water supply resiliency.
