Adrenal Fatigue

How do you know you’re dealing with adrenal fatigue? When you just feel terrible in the morning! I know I have been dealing with this the past few weeks, and I know what to do about it, I just haven’t done it yet! Adrenal fatigue can happen when we burn ourselves out by doing too much or having too many stimulants.

There’s certain adaptogenic herbs that help support our weak adrenals. We would want to take these many times a day when we need to nourish our adrenals and get us feeling back to normal. Fortunately we sell these in supplement form at Wild Roots. Depending on how fatigued you are depends on how extensively you need to take these to build things up. Sometimes I take four three times a day, you can take up to six four times a day to build things up, but a formula you can do that with only includes the adaptogenic herbs. And this is only for a short building up session. Sometimes I can build my adrenals up in as little as three days, but if someone has been under adrenal fatigue for years, it could take months to see a change.

These adaptogenic herbs include schisandra, ashwagandha, licorice, holy basil, maca, rhodiola, reishi, and more. Most of our formulas contain these herbs. Also, remember to take vitamin C too. It helps support our adrenals. So make sure to eat your vit C rich fruits and vegetables, and take vitamin C because it helps with many important mechanisms in the body. Our adrenals tell us when we’re overdoing it, if we tax them, and demand too much from them, they will tell us, we won’t be able to get out of bed! So lets be nice to them, lets nourish and support them, and we will support the whole body in the process.
