This year has started off with a thunderous bang! I hope everyone has literally weathered the storm safely. Fortunately, February is our first month in a long while with no retrograde planets, and I suspect this will give us a feeling of finally moving forward to begin anew. I personally was out of power, hot water, etc. for 10 days during the storms, so this month’s column will be a little different than the others. I am going to shoot from the hip and give us some quick but potent lightning bolt entries to guide us through this month.
Feb 5th at 10:27am we have a Full Moon at 16° Leo. After our wild storms and our long months of retrograde planets and their lessons, it’s time to let your hair down and roar. Stretch, play, feel good, express yourself…shine!
Feb 18th at 2:35pm the Sun enters dreamy, compassionate Pisces. This is the last of our winter and is the time to daydream and plant seeds for where we will put our focus in the spring. It is a time of quiet and rest in our zodiacal landscape before the thrill of Aries and action hits like a quadruple espresso.
Feb 19th at 11:06 pm we have a New Moon at 1° Pisces. Plant the seeds of what will nourish you spiritually and artistically in the year to come. Seek a vision that will inspire you. Open your heart and mind to the endless possibilities that might spring forth from the darkness, and await the reply from the sea of stars.
Valentine’s day is looking to be an extra sweet and romantic one, if you are into that kind of thing. Venus will be approaching her conjunction with Neptune, so merging souls and hearts will come naturally. A word of warning about Neptune, he loves a good fantasy and often leads to hangovers, so if you are in a budding romance probably best to wait on that engagement ring and if you find yourself tipsy – no driving! And where do you fit in all of this? This month is the last of the intensity of that existential battle, and you will be invited to dream a new dream. To create the personal myth that best fits you.
Pisces:
The magic of luck and dreams are on your side this month. Charming and romantic looks may be headed in you
r direction, as if you have the glamor of love about you. Soak it in, but try not to lose yourself to intoxication, whether that is alcohol, drugs, fantasies, etc. This new moon is very important for you. Ask the skies for a vision of what’s next. What do you want to create more than anything? The time is coming for you to make it real in the years to come. For now, dream, imagine, make vision boards, ask for guidance, and write it all down.
Aries:
