Retrograde cycles are illusions that are caused by our perspective from earth, because the earth is circling the sun at a different rate than the other planets.
Mercury is the planet that rules communication. When Mercury is exhibiting its apparent retrograde motion, confusion tends to ensue. Mercury governs areas such as commerce, speaking, contracts, transportation and technology. Assessments can be difficult to make, and setbacks and obstacles are more likely to occur.
