If you feel something calling you to dance or write or paint or sing,

please refuse to worry about whether you are good enough.  Just do it.

It is said we are made in the image of the Creator.  I believe to an extent, this is true…  at least when it come to creativity.  I personally have always been creative in one way or another.  I have always had my hands into something that basically started from nothing but bits and pieces, gathered and collected, eventually assembled into something to delight the senses…  be it food, artifact, costume, or dance.

I have always felt that creativity, at least for me, was something so essential, no different than the need for food, water, to sleep or breathe.  It is in our inherent nature to create, and although it might not always be recognized, we all do create on a constant basis.  The simple act of making a meal is creative.

I’ve heard it several times as of late, various individuals talking about manifesting their thoughts and dreams.  It really is the first step.  I often tell people; it is rather like building your dream home.  Your dream place cannot be built until you have a vision of what you want to build or create.  You cannot build a house until you have a blueprint floorplan, and you cannot create a blueprint floorplan until you have a vision.  There is an order to creation, each step building upon the former.

We are currently within a very powerful time of manifestation in the space-time continuum, so visions need to be filled and fleshed out as much as possible right down to the smallest detail.  Any “space” left blank will certainly be a fantastic opportunity for the universe to present you with a learning lesson experience, that can often appear as a set-back or roadblock.  It is not, rather it is a “detour” one must confront in order to move forward with the creation of the original vision.  Don’t sweat the small stuff, and don’t sweat the bigger stuff either.  Put into the right perspective, and understood as the lesson being presented, it is best to learn what we can and get on with the task at hand.  Above all else, if you feel a true “calling” to create no matter what it might be, just do it!  And don’t, above all else, let anyone “sabotage” your dream.  It is not their vision, it is yours, sometimes best kept secret until you are ready to show it off.  That is, unless you are co-creating together.

I have known of groups of people creating wonderfully big dreams, with the specific understanding of keeping the “lid” on the project until it is ready (whatever that may mean); as to not dilute that powerful manifestational energy of creation; to make sure the original concept is not skewed or pulled off the direction of the pathway; that no unnecessary elements, energies or emotions enter unless that is the intention of the creator. I use the example of painting on a canvas…  one does not want someone else, who may not have any idea what the end creation will be, to come along and splash paint all over our personal work.  It works the same way with any creation, unless invited to participate, best to keep things under wraps.

As we enter the season of summer, fullness abounds, and it is a time to flesh out our dreams of creation.  It is a time to enjoy the earth abundance, as creating with joy is vital to the success of the outcome.  So get out there and let the hand of our illustrious creator guide your own hands into the creations of your dreams, come true.  Just do it! And be glad for it.
