Welcome to Spring! There is a lot going on in the skies this month, here are some highlights: April Fool’s Day has tricks up its sleeve with Mercury Retrograde beginning in the afternoon in the fire sign of Aries. You might be full of good ideas and ready to charge ahead, but taking some extra time to think it through is probably wise. We have the Solar eclipse on April 8 at 11:20 am in the courageous sign of Aries, putting our sense of the vitality and freshness of Spring into overdrive. The New Moon invites us to reflect, the Eclipse opens new doors and opportunities, and Aries asks us to go do it already! Our task is to alchemize the inwardness of the New Moon and the action passion of Aries for best results. This may look like taking action from a place of deep intuition and trust that the Universe is opening the right doors for you. We also have Jupiter meeting up with Uranus in the sign of Taurus on April 20th, which is bound to bring some unexpected plot twists in the realm of the material world. Uranus is like the wild uncle that you never know what he’ll do next. This planet wants freedom, and forward thinking, and each of us to be unique and authentic. Jupiter is often called the Santa Claus of planets, as he usually brings joviality and good luck. Whatever Jupiter hits he makes bigger, and sometimes his grandiose optimism gets us into trouble. Look at your birth chart and see where the sign of Taurus falls to get a taste of what area of life you might expect a wild card. . Luminaries: Our New Moon and Solar Eclipse at 19° Aries falls on April 8 at 11:20 am. The Sun enters earthy and grounded Taurus on April 19 at 7 am. Mercury Cazimi (conjunct the Sun) April 11 at 3:55 pm in Aries Optimistic Jupiter conjunct Wild Card Uranus on Apr 20 in Taurus. Think big surprises. Charming Venus enters sensual Taurus on Apr 29. Enjoy the finer things in life. Warrior Mars enters adrenaline-seeking Aries on Apr 30. Passions and tempers flare, but if you need a dose of bravery, now is the time! ♈ Aries March 21-April 20 Good thing you love adrenaline, this month is non-stop action for you! And you are the host of Mercury Retrograde and the New Moon Eclipse on the 8th. Buckle up, Buttercup! That being said, you may find yourself frustrated at challenges in taking action. There is so much “go!” energy in the skies, but with Mercury retrograde in your sign and your ruling planet in boundaryless Pisces…you may feel like you are walking in circles instead of forward. Your identity and leadership gets an update. There is a lot of subconscious material asking for your attention, surrounding the way you see yourself and the way you relate with others. Things might not be as simple as you prefer. Your community network feels intense and perhaps confusing. Work through the subjects at hand, they lead to better things. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens to heal your mind and spirit. Listen to your dreams and synchronistic messages. What spiritual care do you need? Full Moon: There is tension that requires transformation between your most trusted partners and the world at large. What is your truest calling in the world? What support from your partner do you need? ♊ Gemini May 22 – June 20 For you, there are always two sides to the coin. This month could be absolute pandemonium as you chaotically and aggressively stir the pot within your community. OR you can find a way to slow down and ground yourself in order to creatively respond to the tremendous amount of healing that is available. Who do you want to be? What do you want your future to look like? Who do you want to get there with? Communication of your goals requires extra care this month. Think it through. Full Moon: A question is brought to light…Do the duties and responsibilities you’ve committed yourself to align with your beliefs? Is an adjustment required? ♋ Cancer June 21 – July 21 Your dreams are troubled on the night of April 6th. This may be a badly needed release of built-up tension. Your dreams on the night of April 7th bring peaceful healing to rejuvenate you for the bravery you will need at work on the 8th. Claim what is yours in the public eye. April 10th brings a lucky surprise within your community network. And perhaps you have a flash of insight about your future plans. Apr 13-15 brings comfort and bolsters your sense of purpose and belief with idealism, passion, and maturity. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens to claim what you deserve at work. Declare your calling in the world. Full Moon: Some deep wounds are asking for a creative outlet. Tell your story. ♌ Leo July 22 – Aug 22 Your beliefs and sense of purpose are in the spotlight. Are they truly yours? Is there a part of you that has been afraid to confess that your beliefs are different than your family or culture of origin’s beliefs? April 19th and onward your attention shifts focus to work, with some surprising plot twists afoot. This month is all about your lion’s roar of authenticity. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens to heal by claiming your true sense of purpose and beliefs. Full Moon: Your career is in the spotlight, but honest negotiations may be required from your trusted partners, whether that is romantic, friendship, or business. ♍ Virgo Aug 23 – Sept 22 There have been some deeply intimate wounds in your past, and they are up for review, reflection, and processing. You may need some extra time alone to allow yourself to feel, remember what needs to be remembered, journal, release. Transformative work is an excellent idea. Perhaps you feel like the world will fall apart if you take time away to nurse these wounds, but if you don’t, you will likely become resentful. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens to heal the wound of trust and deep intimacy. You deserve it. Full Moon: Spend time reveling in your own senses, feeding your curiosity, and speaking your truth. You may feel that this clashes with your sense of responsibility, but you need it. ♎ Libra Sept 23 – Oct 22 There is so much focus on relationships for you this month. Do not shy away from confrontation in your closest bonds. It is time for you to heal some wounds with your most trusted people and you can’t do that if you are afraid to bring up unpleasant things. Sometimes true relating is messy. Sometimes unattractive things must be spoken out loud. This is where real intimacy comes from. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens for you to heal the wound of relationship. You’ve been hurt before. Let this be a new beginning. Full Moon: Perhaps you will gain more self-worth by finding a creative outlet for some of your darker experiences? I know you are a Libra, but it doesn’t have to be pretty all the time. Embrace the cringe. ♏ Scorpio Oct 23 – Nov 22 You may find yourself far more extroverted, dreamy, and playful this month. Embrace it! Make art, share your story, flirt, explore passion. It is so easy for you to fixate on transformation lately, but you’ve got to let off some steam and take a break from the psychological deep dive. What secret part of you wants room at the table? ♐ Sagittarius Nov 23 – Dec 21 Looks like this month asks you to finally take your place at the table as a teacher. Have you been underestimating yourself, your wisdom, and your ability to teach? You are part of a stream of lineage, and your gifts will become apparent. On the flip side, if you’ve been seeking a mentor to help you get there, they are likely to show up in your life this month. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens to heal through play, adventure, and creative endeavors. Time to shine. Full Moon: Open your mind to receive information from the subconscious/otherworld. Your dreams and visions hold important truths. ♑ Capricorn Dec 22 – Jan 20 Watch your temper. Your ideas are passionate and you are driven to convince others of their merit, but compassion and a sense of flow are required to get the job done. You must remember that other people’s concerns, ideas, values, and contributions are also meaningful. As much as you like solitude, this is probably a team effort. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens to heal your place in your ancestral line. Your roots, your home, your family of origin…what needs healing through bravery? ♒ Aquarius Jan. 21 – Feb 19 You know, there’s a lot of ways this month can go for you, but the message that wants to come forward is “inheritance”. An increase to your resources through a fortunate wild card in the family or at home. Perhaps it’s time to buy a home. Perhaps your domestic partner gets a promotion with a fat raise. Or…perhaps your dad finally says “I’m proud of you” and it increases your sense of self-worth. Key words are home, resources, and increase. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens to heal through speech. Say it, write it, sing it…be courageous with your voice. Full Moon: The spotlight is on your career. Are you doing the thing you most want to do in the world? Is it honest to who you are? ♓ Pisces Feb 20 – March 20 Your skills of camouflage aren’t working as well as usual. You may feel exposed, but the ball is in your court. There is a call to action as if everyone is looking at you and asking “what are you going to do?” Don’t underestimate yourself. You do know what to say, and your ideas have an extra dose of “revolutionary” this month. You will have some “aha!” moments that may change your life. New Moon/Eclipse: A portal opens for you to heal your self-worth and confidence. You also deserve to make money. Full Moon: Do your beliefs align with your spirit? Does your sense of purpose suffer from doubt? These are the themes you are asked to consider. Remember the lessons of the New Moon Eclipse as you wrestle with these questions that only you can answer.
