Women March Again

Quite a few new female officeholders said they decided to run for public office after attending the 2017 Women’s March. Now you have an opportunity to experience the empowering energy again on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in downtown Santa Cruz.

This is your chance to:

  • Celebrate the most spectacular march in Santa Cruz history, which occurred in January 2017
  • Renew your commitment to “be the change”
  • Build collaboration between your organization and others with the same goals

The march titled ‘Be the Change’ will begin at Pacific Ave. and Water Street and will culminate in an activist fair at Louden Nelson Center featuring community heroes such as Planned Parenthood, ACLU, Diversity Center, and 30 other community groups. You are invited to march again to reaffirm our commitment to work together for Women’s rights, social justice, and to protect the rights of all our neighbors and friends.
