It is a historic day here at the Brookdale Lodge. Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors Bruce McPherson joins Pravin Patel, the owner of Brookdale Lodge, at this historic event.
The ribbon was cut at 5:30. The large crowd cheered at these two as they had fun cutting the ribbon.
Supervisor McPherson spoke about the significance of the re-opening of the lodge. Mr. Patel spoke about the lodge being the hub of San Lorenzo Valley. His trial and tribulation of the remodel but mostly the good days of bringing this property back to life.
